This post is a little bit out of topic with respect to what we normally deal with here on this blog… but hey, I am an economist after all!

Yesterday, one of the main italian broadcast radio called me to answer some questions on the functioning of a carbon tax, and especially on how compensation programs could work to enhance its social acceptance and its fairness. The questions were mainly based on a recent comment appeared in Nature and on the healthy debate surrounding the question of the redistribution of the tax revenues.

I obviously also had the change to speak a little bit about my ERC grant and about the challenges of adaptation based on energy. You can listen to the podcast here, but only if you understand Italian!
